GENERAC'S ONE YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY FOR PTO'S
TRACTOR DRIVEN ALTERNATORS
Osnerac warrants to the original Purchaser that each new PTO Alternator and Gear Box shall be free from defects In material and workmanship
under normal use and service for a period of one year from the date of original purchase. This warranty, however, does not Include:
I. Rental units, demonstrators, or commercial applications which are warranted for only 90 days.
2. PTO Alternators and Gear Boxes which (a) have not been operated or maintained as specified in the applicable owner's manual, (b) have been
subject to abuse, misuse or neglect of any kind or lc) have been altered or repaired in such a way so as to, In Generac's judgment, adversely af-
fect reliability and performance.
3. Normal maintenance as shown in the owner's manual. including but not limited to replacement of oil in Gear Box and lubrication of PTO Alter.

During the one-year or 90-day warranty period, Generic will, at Its option, repair or replace any part which is found to be defective upon ex-
amination by Generac. These remedies of repair or replacement. at Generac's option, are Purchaser's exclusive remedies under this warranty.
GENERAC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR INDIRECT DAMAGES CAUSED BY DEFECTS IN MATERIALS OR
WORKMANSHIP OR ANY DELAY IN REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF THE DEFECTIVE PARTS. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation
of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
THERE IS NO OTHER EXPRESS WARRANTY. GENERAC HEREBY DISCLAIMS ANY AND ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES. INCLUDING BUT NOT
LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY
LAW. The duration of any implied warranties which cannot be disclaimed is limited to the time period lone year or 90 days) as specified in the
express warranty. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts so the above limitation may not apply to you.

SAFETY
1. BE A SAFE OPERATOR- BY THINKING BEFORE ACTING- AND BY READING THE
INSTRUCTIONS AND INFORMATION IN THIS OWNER'S MANUAL CAREFULLY.
2. Installation of electrical wiring should be accomplished by a
competent, qualified electrician who is familiar with applicable
codes, standards, laws and regulations pertaining to this equipment.
All pertinent codes, standards, laws and regulations must be complied
with fully. The National Electric Code (NEC), Occupational Safety and
Health Administration (OSHA) regulations, local industrial codes, and
local inspection requirements must be complied with in the installa-
tion, use and servicing of this (and related) equipment.
3. Extremely
high
and
dangerous
voltages are
present at
power
terminals of this equipment. Contact with such high voltage terminals
will result in extremely hazardous- possibly LETHAL- electrical shock.
Avoid contact with such terminals. Never permit any unqualified person
to install, operate or service this equipment.
4. NEVER handle any kind of electrical device while standing in water,
while barefoot, or while hands or feet are wet. DANGEROUS ELECTRICAL
SHOCK WILL RESULT.
5. The frame and external electrically conductive parts of this equip-
ment must be properly connected to an approved earth ground. Refer to
Paragraph 3.9 in this Manual.
6. Electrical wiring used in conjunction with
this
equipment must be
in
good
condition,
of approved
insulative
qualities,
properly
supported and of the correct wire gauge size to handle the maximum
anticipated load current.
7. Keep this equipment CLEAN
and
IN GOOD CONDITION. Inspect the unit
frequently. Promptly repair or replace all worn or damaged wiring,
hoses, cables, fastening hardware, and other parts.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights which very from state to state.
This warranty Is effective for all products manufactured after December 31. 1976 and supercedes all prior warranties of Generac.Warrenty ser-
vice can only be performed by a Generac authorized warranty service facility. Contact your nearest Generac authorized service facility as shown
on Generac's listing of authorized warranty service facilities for service. At the time of requesting warranty service, evidence of the original pur-
chase date must be presented.
