CSM Series Hardware Manual 1 Introduction The CSM series DC speed control stepper motors integrate driver and motor perfectly, revolutionary to create an integrated motion control terminal with new and excellent performance. 1.1 Features • DC speed control stepper motor. •...
CSM Series Hardware Manual 2 Getting Started Please read the section below entitled “Choosing a Power Supply” for help you choosing right one. 2.1 Choosing a Power Supply When choosing a power supply, the most important thing is consider the demand for voltage and current in practical application.
CSM Series Hardware Manual 2.1.2 Current The power input current required by the CSM series motor under different supply voltages is indicated on the curve below. Normally, the input current of the CSM series motor power supply is smaller than that of the driving motor. Because the CSM series motor has a built-in driver, which realizes the power conversion function, and the driver will amplify a high-voltage and low-voltage current signal into a low-voltage and high-current signal through the power switch.
