    Before setting the system, make sure that your AV over IP network switch meets the following minimum requirements: • A PoE (power over ethernet) switch or PoE injector is required to power the WP-DEC7. If necessary, an optional 20V DC power supply can be used. •...

    WP-DEC7 to the Ethernet port on a network hub, switch or router using a straight-through cable with RJ-45 connectors. Make sure your PC is connected to the same LAN as the WP-DEC7. By default, the WP-DEC7 is DHCP-enabled. Make sure that there is a DHCP server in the network so the device can obtain a valid IP address.
