Assembly instructions MAXvent General notes 1 General notes Compliance with the following instructions is mandatory to ensure the functionality and safety of the product. If the following instructions given especially but not limited for general safety, transport, storage, mounting, operating conditions, start-up, mainte- nance, repair, cleaning and disposal / recycling are not observed, the product may not operate safely and may cause a hazard to the life and limb of users and third parties. -

Mounting Information ZIEHL-ABEGG supplies type “F” and “K” flange ring fans without an inlet nozzle. The axial supply from the unit/system structure must be as twist-free as possible and should have no additional air resistance. Disturbances in the supply may impair the function of the fan. -

Assembly instructions MAXvent Troubleshooting Danger! When in operation with a frequency converter, no overmodulation is allowed. The fan wheel may burst – danger to life! In addition, perform the following tests before switching on an explosion-pro- tected fan: • Check the operating conditions / process parameters (see "Use as Intended"). Above all, ensure that the maximum permissible value for the speed, intake and ambient temperature (see rating plate) are never exceeded under any conditions and are never exceeded at any time! -
