Setting Internet Explorer for PC (For Windows Vista and Windows 7)
■ Setting Internet Explorer
Set the CBM-20A(lite) and SPD-M20A/SPD-M30A using
the Internet Explorer. It is required to change the IE
settings including Amount of disk space to use, Security,
Advanced etc. Change the IE settings from the Internet
Option screen.
Start up IE and click on Tool in the menu followed by
Internet Option to display the Internet Option dialog box.
■ Setting of the Disk space to use
1) Click on the Settings button of the Browsing history in
the General tab to display the setting dialog.
2) Set the Disk space to use to "100" and click on the OK
button.
■ Security setting (1)
1) Select [Local intranet] in the Security tab and click on
the Sites button.
2) Click on the Advanced button.
3) Add URLs of CBM-20A(lite) and SPD-M20A/
SPD-M30A.
Input "http://192.168.200.*" and press the Add button.
After input, click on the Close button to confirm the set
contents.

Click on the Custom Level button in the Security tab.
Set the following items from the setting list.
Items
Run ActiveX control and plug-ins
Script ActiveX controls marked
safe for scripting
Active scripting
Access data source across domains
File download
You may be warned with a message saying "Are you sure
you want to change the security setting for this zone?"
Select Yes in that case.
■ Bypassing proxy server
Click on the LAN settings button in the Connections
tab. When using a proxy server in your LAN, configure
the following settings. If no proxy server is used, this
setting is unnecessary.
1) Check the "Use a proxy server for your LAN (These
settings will not apply to dial-up or VPN connections)"
and the "Bypass proxy server for local addresses" check
box.
2) Click the Advanced button and add the system
controller' s URL(192.168.200.*) in "Exceptions".
* When the IP addresses of the CBM-20A(lite) and SPD-M20A/SPD-M30A are changed, change the Security setting(1) so that new IP
addresses are included in the intranet zone.

1) Display the Advanced tab.
2) Browse to the checkbox "Display a notification
about every script error" and select this option.
3) Browse to the checkbox "Print background colors
and images" and select this option.
When Tool menu
