To implement this application and connection failover, a software interface
between the Oracle software and the client must be written.
Such a software interface would be responsible for detecting when the client's
cluster node is no longer available and then connecting the client to one of the
remaining, operational cluster nodes.
NOTE: For complete information on how to ensure client auto-reconnect in an Oracle
Parallel Server environment, contact your Oracle representative.
