If the optional Compaq StorageWorks Large LUN utility is installed
on your cluster, Windows 2000 recognizes D0 through D63 as the
virtual disks attached to port 1 of the array controller. Virtual disks
D100 through D163 attach to port 2. Distribute the LUNs evenly
across all four array controller ports.

If the Large LUN utility is not installed, Windows 2000 recognizes
D0 through D7 as the virtual disks attached to port 1 of the array
controller. Virtual disks D100 through D107 attach to port 2.
Distribute the LUNs evenly across all four array controller ports.
8. If the Large LUN utility is installed, do not assign unit offsets to any
connections. If the Large LUN utility is not installed, define an offset
for the disks associated with port 2 of the array controller. For example,
to define an offset for virtual disk D100, you would enter:
IMPORTANT: If the disks associated with port 2 are different from those associated with
port 1, then you must define an offset value for the port 2 disks. If the disks associated
with port 1 and 2 are the same, then no offset value needs to be assigned to the port 2
disks.
