Built-in gas hob This built-in gas hob is manufactured for household use. Our Dear Buyer, appliances are packed in environmentally friendly materials which may be recycled, deposited or destroyed without any hazard to the environment. Such packaging materials are also labeled accordingly.
Safety precautions • To avoid any possible hazard, the appliance must be installed by Registered Gas Installer employed by Registered Gas Contractors only. • During the operation of gas burners the room may be filled with extra heat and humidity, so it is necessary to assure adequate ventilation by keeping the natural air vents and by activating the mechanical aeration device (suction hood or ventilating fan).

Cookware · Selection of the adequate dish size ensures optimized cooking time and consumption of gas. · The flame reaching over the edge of the small diameter dish may destroy the dish, while the consumption of gas increases. · Gas needs oxygen for burning. In case of excessively large dish diameter the oxygen supply is insufficient, reducing the burning capacity.

Never use such cleaners for cleaning of aluminum. Clean plastic and coated surfaces should be cleaned with non-abrasive cleaning agents and soft cloth. Pattern marks on glass surface can become dull and rough, bottom of the cookware can also be damaged by the use of aggressive cleansing agents (fig. 2). Minor stains can be removed with moist soft cloth; after that the surface should be wiped to dry (fig. 3). Water stains should be removed with gentle vinegar solution.
Troubleshooting guide Repairs must be done by Registered Gas Installers only. Any unskilled attempt to repair the appliance is extremely dangerous. Before attempting any repairs, disconnect the appliance from the mains by removing the fuse or unplugging the mains lead from the mains socket.
Installation instructions Attention! According to the Gas Safety Ordinance of Hong Kong, any gas installation works including the installation of appliances and connection tubing, must be undertaken by registered gas installers who are registered for that appropriate classes and be employed by registered gas contractors. Use approved gas tubing bearing EMSD approval marking (such as : EMSD APPROVAL GTXXXX) for connection to appliances, or other appropriate methods accepted by EMSD.

Connecting the hob to the mains · Connections must be carried out by a registered gas installer only.
