1. It's important to give the power cable a health check before stripping it.
2. It's necessary to use controlled motion to strip the insulation down the wire, to prevent damage to the wires.
3. Make sure that the insulation layer has been stripped to a sufficient length so that the center conductor is
2 fully exposed without any damage or nicks. In addition, make sure that no extra insulation remains beyond
the connector once it's crimped on.
