CABBARD
The sheath prevents contact between the user and the blades when the equipment is
not in use. It also helps prevent the blades from being scratched or damaged when the
tool is in storage.
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING: Do not use this product if any of the parts on the packing list are
already fitted to the product when you unpack it. The parts on this list are not
fitted to the product by the manufacturer and require installation by the
customer. Using a product that may have been assembled incorrectly can result in
serious personal injury.
WARNING: If any parts are damaged or missing, do not use this product until
the parts have been replaced. Using this product with damaged or missing
parts can result in serious personal injury.
WARNING: Do not attempt to modify this product or create accessories not
recommended for use with this product. Any alteration or modification
constitutes misuse and may result in a hazardous condition that could lead to
serious injury.
WARNING: Do not connect to the power supply until assembly is complete.
Failure to comply may result in accidental start-up and possible serious
personal injury.
WARNING: Before mounting, make sure that the tool is switched off and that
the battery has been removed.

ONNECTING AND REMOVING THE BATTERY
To install the battery:
• To install the battery in the lower part of the handle, align the battery rails
with the handle rails and push the battery into the handle. To connect the
battery, slide the battery assembly fully forwards until the latch clicks into
place.
To remove the battery:
• Press the battery release button, slide the battery backwards, then pull or lift
the battery out of the tool.
WARNING: Follow these instructions to avoid injury and to reduce the risk of
electric shock or fire:
• Replace the battery pack or charger immediately if the battery case or
charger cable is damaged.
• Make sure that the battery pack has been removed before inspecting,
adjusting or servicing any part of the power tool.
• Read, understand and follow the instructions.
