• For best results, the battery-powered tool should be charged in a place where the
temperature is above 7ºC but below 40ºC. To reduce the risk of serious personal
injury, do not store the tool outside or in vehicles.
• Under extreme conditions of use or temperature, the battery may leak. If liquid
comes into contact with skin, wash immediately with soap and water, then
neutralise with lemon juice or vinegar. If the liquid comes into contact with your
eyes, rinse them with clean water for at least 10 minutes and then seek
immediate medical attention. Following this rule will reduce the risk of serious
personal injury.
• Do not point the hedge trimmer in the direction of people or pets.
• Keep these instructions. Refer to them often and use them to instruct others who
may use this battery-powered tool. If you lend this tool to someone, lend them
these instructions as well.

U
SE OF POWER TOOLS AND PRECAUTIONS TO BE TAKEN
• Get to know this tool. Read the manual carefully, get to know its applications
and limitations, as well as the specific potential dangers related to this tool.
• Check for misaligned or stuck moving parts, broken parts or any other condition
that could affect the operation of the power tool. If it is damaged, have the
power tool repaired before using it. Many accidents are caused by poorly
maintained tools.
• Do not force the hedge trimmer to work. Use the right equipment for each
application. The right power tool will do the job better and more safely at the
pace for which it was designed.
• Disconnect the plug from the charger and/or the battery from the power tool
before making any adjustments, changing accessories or storing power tools.
These preventative safety measures reduce the risk of the power tool starting
up accidentally.
• Store inactive power tools out of the reach of children and other untrained
people. Power tools are dangerous in the hands of untrained users.
• Check that the tool is working properly before use. Do not use the tool if the
contact mechanism with the workpiece is not functioning correctly, as this
could result in an accidental actuation of a clamping element.
