• Do not use the power tool if the switch does not switch it on or off. Any power
tool that cannot be controlled with the switch is dangerous and must be

sharp cutting edges are less likely to snag and are easier to control.
• Use the power tool and accessories in accordance with these instructions,
taking into account the working conditions and the work to be carried out.
Using the power tool for operations other than those intended may result in a
hazardous situation.

SE OF THE BATTERY
WARNING: utilize apenas baterias de substituição aprovadas pelo fabricante;
outras baterias podem causar ferimentos ou danos no cortador.
Battery safety rules (Not Included):
• Batteries can explode in the presence of an ignition source, such as a pilot light.
To reduce the risk of serious personal injury, never use any cordless product in
the presence of an open flame. An exploding battery can project debris and
chemicals. If exposed, rinse immediately with water. Do not overcharge the
battery or place it in a damp or wet location. Follow this rule will reduce the risk
of electric shock.
• When the battery is not in use, keep it away from other metal objects, such as
paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws or other small metal objects that could
establish a connection between one terminal and another. A short circuit
between the battery terminals could cause sparks, shocks or a fire.
• Always remove the battery from your tool when fitting parts, making
adjustments, cleaning or when not in use. Removing the battery will prevent
accidental starting which can cause serious injury.
• Always remove the battery before storing the equipment. When the battery is
fully charged, disconnect the charger from the power supply and remove the
battery from the charger.
• Keep the battery dry, clean and free of oil and grease. Always use a clean cloth
to clean it. Never use brake fluids, petrol, petroleum-based products or any
solvents to clean the battery.
• Do not open or mutilate the battery. The electrolyte released is corrosive and
can cause damage to the eyes or skin. May be toxic if swallowed.
Proper battery (not included) care:
To get the longest possible battery life, we suggest the following:
• Remove the battery from the charger when it is fully charged and ready for use.
For battery storage for more than 30 days:
• Store the battery pack at a temperature below 26ºC and away from moisture.
• Store the batteries in a fully charged state.
