Follow me function (
The „Follow Me" function allows the room temperature to be read via the remote control. The remote control
sends temperature information to the air conditioner every few minutes (depending on the model). The
function is available in: automatic (AUTO), cooling (COOL) or heating (HEAT) mode. Measuring the ambient
temperature via the remote control in the „Follow Me" function enables precise management of the room
temperature to ensure maximum comfort.
Attention:
Remember that the remote control transmits the temperature reading via the IR (irda) sensor, so it must be
pointed towards the indoor unit! The air conditioner will switch o the Follow me function if it does not receive a
temperature reading for approximately 7 minutes.
To activate Follow Me mode, follow the instructions below:
Option I
• To switch on, press and hold the „TURBO" button for approximately 7 seconds until the remote control
screen shows „ON"
• To switch o , press and hold the „TURBO" button for approximately 7 seconds until the remote controlscreen
shows „OFF"
Option II
• To enable, press the ‚SET' button to enter the available functions, then by pressing the ‚SET' button every 1
second, select the ‚Follow Me' icon and press OK to con rm the function is enabled.
• To deactivate, press the „SET" button to enter the available functions, then by pressing the „SET" button
every 1 second, select the „Follow Me" icon and press OK to con rm the deactivation of the function.
• If the „Follow me" function is activated, the temperature read by the sensor on the remote control is
displayed on the screen and the set temperature is shown on the air conditioner.
• If you want to display the temperature from the remote control on the air conditioner screen, hold down
the „LED" button for approximately 3 seconds. Follow the same steps if you want to return to the display of
the set temperature.
AP function mode ( ):
To con gure the wireless network, enter AP mode by pressing the SET button on the remote control. Some
models do not have AP mode under t h e SET button, in which case you must press and hold the LED
button seven times within 10 seconds to enter AP mode.
