    Encore System Controller Operator Interface Help Guide 1 Navigating Help Topics Access the Help through the main Menu > Help Selecting Help opens a related topic to the current screen open on the system controller interface. Once Help is open, the Help toolbar appears with the following: Help On the Help toolbar, the Help icon opens the Help Table of Contents.

Follow the safety instructions in this document and all other related documentation. Once the manual system is assembled and a powder source is in place, the system controller will allow the user to spray immediately with a default recipe.

    Encore System Controller Operator Interface Help Guide 3 Change Date Format Use the Date Format drop down on the second Preferences screen to choose a date format by country. Change Current Time 1. Select the Current time field on the second Preferences screen.

    Purge air directed in pulses from the pump Siphon Pulses 1-99 to the powder supply. Encore Total On Hours Total time the Encore system has been ON. Review the Encore Total On Hours through the Gun Settings screens. Gun Total On Hours Total time the spray gun has been ON.

    Access the Restore Settings and Recipes command through the Gun Settings screens. Reset to Nordson Defaults Selecting Reset to Nordson Defaults restores the factory default settings. Access the Reset to Nordson Defaults command through the Gun Settings screens. Flow Module Zero Offset NOTE: Only available on HD systems.

Enter a name in the Recipe Name field to assign a name to the recipe. 4. Swipe through Recipe screens to adjust recipe and save settings for: Spray Settings Spray settings can be adjusted from the Home and Edit Recipe screens using the toggles.

    Encore System Controller Operator Interface Help Guide 14 Logo Select Logo to return to the Home screen. Date and Time The Navigation Bar displays the current date and time.  The date and time can be reset through Preferences under the Settings menu.

    Use the Configuration button to access the Gun Settings screens to adjust settings related to the spray guns. Home Screen NOTE: To learn more about navigating the Encore controller operator interface using the Navigation Bar, see the Navigation topic. The Home screen allows the user to select recipes and adjust and save changes to recipes.

Refer to the Perform a Color Change topic for color change procedure. Recipe Drop Down Use the Recipe drop down to select a programmed recipe.

    How to Log In A user can navigate and view any of the screens on the Encore system controller operator interface.  To edit or change options on the screen, a user must have an assigned login.  If you require a login, contact your system administrator to create a login profile.

    Encore System Controller Operator Interface Help Guide 18 Save Recipe Save any manual adjustments made to a recipe. NOTE: Default Factory recipes can only be edited from the Recipes screens. Only the Powder and Air Spray Settings can be edited for default factory recipes.

    Encore System Controller Operator Interface Help Guide 19 Spray Settings Icon Label Description Controls the amount of powder delivered from the pump. In VT systems, Flow Air is used to the volume. Powder In HD systems, Flow is controlled by timing valves to adjust volume.

Electrode Air Wash Electrode air wash air continually washes the spray gun electrode to prevent powder from collecting on it.
