This instruction manual describes precautions and how to safely use and operate the IV pole.
To ensure safe and proper use of the product, be sure to read this instruction manual and the

The safe and correct operating procedures should be explained not only to the persons using the IV
pole but also to caregiver.
After reading this instruction manual, store it in a place that can be easily accessed for later reference.

    INTENDED USE This IV pole is designed to be attached to the medical device to be used together with this product when giving an intravenous drip to a patient.   • Page 3: Safety Precautions

     If it is not tightened properly, the sliding pipe may unexpectedly fall, resulting in injury.  Length adjustment of the sliding pipe should be kept within 65 cm (26 in.).  If the sliding pipe is pulled out too far, it could come off, resulting in injury or the IV pole could be damaged.

     Do not move the bed while holding the IV pole.  Excessive force may be applied to the IV pole and it may be damaged or deformed.  Do not apply a spray-type insecticide directly to the IV pole.

    Loosen the vertical stopper, draw out the sliding pipe, adjust the hooks to the suitable height, and then firmly tighten the vertical stopper. To use the IV pole, completely insert the IV pole in the IV pole attachment hole on the bed and check that the supportive bar does not rotate.
  • Page 6 Not doing so may cause cracking, discoloration, or deterioration of the resin. If the IV pole is stained, wipe off promptly. Leaving it as is may cause permanent stains.  An ozone sterilizer, autoclave, bed cleaning machine, etc. cannot be used for the IV pole.
