Select System Test to start the alternator/stator test, Print to print results, Email to send
results or  to finish the test.

System Test

After the battery test has finished, a System Test can be performed including a starting and
charging system test
1. Start the engine and allow it to idle for 10 seconds.
MVT will detect that the vehicle has started, and an alternator test will be automatically
performed. Turn the engine off after the 10 second countdown is complete.
2. If the System Test does not automatically detect the vehicle start after 30 seconds, perform
the test manually by selecting No Start or Started from the options at the bottom.
Select Retry to attempt an automatic test. Start the vehicle's engine and let it idle.
3. The final test result screen will show color-coded results for the battery test, starter and alterna-
tor. Select each test to display individual results. See Battery Test Result section for details. ,
Select Print to print results, Email to send results or  to finish the System Test.
