EXTREME CAUTION should be exercised when unloading windrower due to poor stability of tractor section less header.
CHECK POINTS
Inspect the following and adjust If necessary
engine

Coolant level (radiator)
o
Air cleaner
&
connections -IMPORTANT
o
Engine oil laval
o
Fuel tank for water & foreign material, add fuel
o
AHernator & AlC
be~s
o
Ballery electrolyte
o
Electrical connections (neg. ground) -
o
Governor adjustments
o
Oil level in hyd. system & check for
leaks along lines.
START ENGINE - RUN TO OPERATING TEMPERATURE

Check that maximum (no toad) engine speed is:
Gas Engine
2380-2430 /
Diesel Engine
2320-2370

Carburetor adjustment & engine timing
o
Oil level in hydraulic system and power wheels
o
lire pressure
o
Parking brake adjusted
o
Steering and variable speed linkage adjustments
o
Check header level with tractor
o
Knife guards for alignment
o
Install breather in wobble box before
running knife
o
Knife for/ree running
o
Draper tension and alignment
o
Be~s
and chains for alignment and tension
o
Header flotation spring sellings
o
All shields and guards in place
o
A~ernator
for charging
o
Check engine for external leaks
o
AJC working
o
Gauges working
Main Machine
o
Turn machine by hand and make
sure all moving parts tum freely
o
Run machine at idle for 30 minutes
o
Check bearings to make certain
none heating
o
Check control operation for header,
throllle, hydraulic functions, steering,
and variable speed
o
Check and tighten aU bolts, especially
Wheel bolts. Advise customer to
check frequently.
o
Check bearing collars for tightness
o
Check aU accessories such as hay
conditioner
