MAINTENANCE/SERVICE
CAB AIR SYSTEM
A
WARNING: The ai' condHlonlng system
Is pressurized. Improper servicing may
cause refrigerant to penetrate eyes and
skin or cause bums. Special equipment
and procedures are required to service
the air condftlonlng system. See your
WInd rower dealer for service.

occur, see a doctor familiar with thIs type
of Injury Immediately.
AIR CONDITIONING CONDENSER
Clean

air.

FRESH AIR INTAKE FILTER
Crean
d.a.iIt
as follows:
1.
Loosen wing nut (A) and release filter (8) from
rear of cab roof.
2. Tap filter gently on a flat surface, dirty side
down.
Do not tap on a tire
.
3. Direct compressed air (100 psi [689 kPaJ maxi·
mum) through filter in opposite direction of air
flow arrows.
4.
Wash filter as required:
Soak 15 minutes in warm water (not over
100"F [3S"C]) wnh Filter Element Cleaner
(Donaldson D 1400 or
equivalent).
Rinse thoroughly with clean water (maximum
pressure 40 psi [272 kPa])
.
Shake excessive water from filter and allow
element to
dry.
Do not use compressed air to
dry filter; it may rupture the wet element.
Protect element from freezing until dry.
5. Reinstall filter. making sure air flow arrows point
towards
cab.

CAUTION: The cab air IntakellHe, Is not
designed to fIIte, out hannful chemicals.
Follow chemical manufacturers Instruc-
tions carefully when operating around
spray areas.
