Since 1947, we have in fact always been committed to designing and producing helmets that ensure the utmost safety for their users, always starting from the hardest benchmark: sport competitions.

    3 THE VISOR Reference images on page 132. The scratch-resistant AX9 helmet polycarbonate visor has a mechanism that allows a rotation movement. The visor is attached to the shell through holes at both ends. The fastening elements and their positions also ensure its movement. The shaped tooth on the inside of the visor interacts with the grooves of the moving mechanism, to ensure stability in the different opening positions (img.
  • Page 10 3.3 CLEANING For optimum cleaning, remove the visor from the helmet and clean using a soft cloth and warm water. If the visor is very dirty, add some neutral detergent. Rinse the visor under running water and dry with a soft cloth. Cleaning is easier and more effective immediately after using the helmet. Never use petrol, benzene, glass cleaners, abrasive products or chemical solvents, as they could compromise the properties of the visor.
  • Page 11 4 THE PINLOCK ANTI-FOG ® INSERT Reference images on page 134. The Pinlock anti-fog insert is supplied with the AX9 helmet and must be fitted on the ® inside of the visor. Made of moist absorbing plastic material, this inserts reduces the formation of fogging.

  • Page 13 5 THE INNER COMPONENTS Reference images on page 135, 136 and 137. The interior of the AX9 helmet consists of: two side cheek pads connected to the neck roll, the upper crown pad, the wind protection and the chin guard cover. These components can be removed and washed individually.
  • Page 14 5.3 THE WIND PROTECTION: INSTALLATION AND REMOVAL In order to install the wind protection, first insert the front plastic tooth in the bottom section of the chin guard and then continue with inserting the other side teeth (img. 14). Make sure that the wind protection is solidly attached to the chin guard.

  • Page 17 7 THE PEAK Reference images on page 140. The position of the peak of the AX9 helmet, designed for protection from sun glare and debris, can be adjusted to suit the situation. Alternatively, the peak can also be removed. The use of the helmet with the peak is guaranteed up to 100 km/h maximum. During road use, the peak of the AX9 helmet must be kept in the fully up position.

    3 VISIERA Immagini di riferimento a pagina 132. La visiera del casco AX9, realizzata in policarbonato antigraffio, è dotata di un meccanismo che le conferisce un movimento di rotazione. Il fissaggio alla calotta avviene per avvitamento tramite i fori praticati alle estremità della visiera.

La lente antiappannamento di marca Pinlock è fornita nell’imballaggio del casco AX9 e ® va assemblata sul lato interno della visiera. Realizzata con materiale plastico in grado di assorbire l’umidità, limita l’insorgere dell’appannamento.

Svincola l’altro incavo della lente di marca Pinlock dal nottolino della visiera e rimuovi la lente.

L’interno del casco AX9 è costituito da: i due guanciali laterali raccordati dal para- nuca, la cuffia superiore, la protezione antivento e il rivestimento sottogola.   • Page 30 5.3 LA PROTEZIONE ANTIVENTO: INSTALLAZIONE E RIMOZIONE Per installare la protezione antivento, inserisci prima il dente plastico frontale nella parte inferiore della mentoniera e procedi poi con l’inserimento dei restanti denti laterali (img. 14). Assicurati che la protezione antivento sia saldamente fissata alla mentoniera. Per rimuovere la protezione antivento, sganciala tirando verso il basso.

  • Page 32 6.2 LA PRESA D'ARIA INTERNA MENTONIERA Per aprire la presa d’aria interna della mentoniera, solleva lo slider. Per chiuderla, abbassalo (img. 22). Per rimuovere la presa d’aria interna della mentoniera, agisci tramite il pulsante che si trova nella parte superiore della presa: tirando verso il basso il pulsante, accompagna la presa muovendola verso il basso, fino al suo completo distacco (img.

Il frontino del casco AX9, reso disponibile per proteggere dall’abbagliamento solare e da eventuali detriti, può essere orientato o venire facilmente rimosso tramite un unico meccanismo di regolazione. L'utilizzo del casco AX9 con frontino assemblato è garantito entro e non oltre i 100 km/h.

    3 LA VISIÈRE Images de référence à la page 132. La visière du casque AX9, fabriquée en polycarbonate anti-rayures, est équipée d’un mécanisme lui permettant d’effectuer un mouvement de rotation. La fixation à la calotte est réalisée au moyen de vis insérées par les trous effectués au niveau des extrémités de la visière.
  • Page 42 3.3 NETTOYAGE Pour un nettoyage optimal de la visière, retirer la visière du casque et la nettoyer en utilisant un chiffon doux et de l’eau tiède : si la visière est très sale, il est possible d’utiliser de l’eau mélangée à du savon neutre.
  • Page 43 4 LA PELLICULE ANTI- BUÉE PINLOCK ® Images de référence à la page 134. La pellicule anti-buée Pinlock est fournie dans l’emballage du casque AX9 et doit être ® installée sur le côté intérieur de la visière. Fabriquée en matière plastique capable d’absorber l’humidité, elle limite l’apparition de la buée.

Libérer la deuxième encoche de la pellicule Pinlock du pivot de la visière et retirer la pellicule.

  • Page 46 5.3 LA PROTECTION ANTI-VENT : INSTALLATION ET RETRAIT Pour installer la protection anti-vent, insérer tout d’abord le cran frontal en plastique dans la partie inférieure de la mentonnière et procéder ensuite à l’insertion des crans latéraux restants (img. 14). Denn wir beschäftigen uns seit 1947 mit der Planung und der Konstruktion von Helmen, die ihrem Träger höchste Sicherheit bieten und beginnen dabei stets beim härtesten Prüfstand: den Wettkämpfen.
  • Page 56 2 DIE BESTANDTEILE DES HELMS In den Bildern auf dieser Seite sind die Bestandteile hervorgehoben, die in den nachfolgenden Kapiteln behandelt werden. Nach dem Entfernen von Teilen des Helms empfehlen wir Ihnen, stets zu überprüfen, ob diese wieder korrekt angebracht wurden. Für eine Vertiefung zu den Sicherheitsvorschriften siehe Dokument der "Anweisungen und Sicherheitshinweise", das diesem Helm zusammen mit dieser Gebrauchsanleitung beiliegt.
  • Page 57 3 DAS VISIER Bezugsbild auf Seite 132. Das Visier des Helms AX9 aus kratzfestem Polycarbonat ist mit einem Mechanismus ausgestattet, der seine Drehbewegung ermöglicht. Die Befestigung an der Helmschale erfolgt durch Verschrauben über die an den Enden des Visiers angebrachten Öffnungen. Der Befestigungssitz des Visiers regelt auch die Bewegung.
  • Page 58 3.3 REINIGUNG Für eine optimale Reinigung das Visier vom Helm lösen und mit einem weichen Tuch und lauwarmem Wasser säubern: bei stark verschmutztem Visier können Sie etwas Neutralseife zum Wasser hinzufügen. Das Visier unter fließendem Wasser abspülen und mit einem weichen Tuch abtrocknen. Die Reinigung ist sofort nach dem Gebrauch müheloser und wirkungsvoller.
  • Page 59 4 DIE BESCHLAGSCHUTZSCHEIBE DER MARKE PINLOCK ® Bezugsbild auf Seite 134. Die Beschlagschutzscheibe der Marke Pinlock wird in der Verpackung des Helms AX9 ® geliefert und ist an der Innenseite des Visiers zu montieren. Sie besteht aus Kunststoff, der in der Lage ist, die Feuchtigkeit aufzunehmen und vermindert so das Beschlagen. Sie wurde dazu entwickelt, sich perfekt an die Visierform anzupassen und eine isolierende und hermetische Luftkammer zu bilden, die das Sichtfeld nicht einschränkt.

  • Page 61 5 DIE INNEREN TEILE Bezugsbild auf Seite 135, 136 und 137. Das Innere des Helms AX9 besteht aus den beiden vom Nackenpolster zusammengehaltenen seitlichen Wangenpolstern, der oberen Schale, dem Windschutz und der Unterhalsschutzverkleidung. Diese Bestandteile können einzeln entnommen und gewaschen werden. Wir empfehlen Ihnen, die Vorgänge zum Anbringen und Entfernen im Sitzen vorzunehmen und dazu den Helm auf den Beinen zu halten.
  • Page 62 5.3 DER WINDSCHUTZ ENTFERNEN UND ANBRINGEN Zum Anbringen des Windschutzes zuerst den vorderen Kunststoffzahn in den unteren Teil des Kinnteils einführen und dann mit den verbleibenden seitlichen Zähnen fortfahren (Bld. 14). Vergewissern Sie sich, dass der Windschutz fest am Kinnteil angebracht ist. Zum Entfernen des Windschutzes diesen durch Ziehen nach unten lösen.

  • Page 64 6.2 DIE INNERE BELÜFTUNGSÖFFNUNG DES KINNTEILS Zum Öffnen der inneren Belüftungsöffnung des Kinnteils, den Slider nach oben schieben. Um sie zu schließen, diesen nach unten schieben (Bld. 22). Um die inneren Belüftungsöffnung des Kinnteils zu entfernen, den Druckknopf am oberen Teil der Belüftungsöffnung betätigen: durch Ziehen des Druckknopfs nach unten die Belüftungsöffnung nach unten begleiten, bis sie vollkommen gelöst ist (Bld.

Der Schirm des Helms AX9, der dem Schutz blendender Sonne und vor eventuellem Schutt dient, kann mit nur einem Einstellmechanismus ausgerichtet oder mühelos entfernt werden. Die Verwendung des Helms bei angebrachtem Schirm ist bis maximal 100 km/h garantiert.

Después de haber extraído partes del casco, recomendamos comprobar siempre que se han vuelto a montar correctamente.     3 LA PANTALLA Imágenes de referencia en la página 132. La pantalla del casco AX9, realizada en policarbonato antirrayas, incorpora un mecanismo que permite un movimiento de rotación. La fijación a la calota se realiza por enrosque con los agujeros realizados en los extremos de la pantalla.
  • Page 74 3.3 LIMPIEZA Para una limpieza óptima, extrae la pantalla del casco y límpiala utilizando un paño suave y agua tibia: si la pantalla está muy sucia puedes añadir agua con jabón neutro. Enjuaga la pantalla con agua corriente y sécala con un paño suave. La limpieza es más sencilla y eficaz cuando se realiza justo después de la utilización.

La lente antivaho de la marca Pinlock está incluida en el embalaje del casco AX9 y ® se monta en el lado interior de la pantalla.   • Page 76 4.2 EXTRACCIÓN Comenzando a trabajar por uno de los extremos laterales de la pantalla, libera el perfil en el margen de la lente de la marca Pinlock del trinquete situado en el interior de la pantalla. ® Arquea ligeramente la lente. Libera el otro perfil de la lente de la marca Pinlock del trinquete de la pantalla y saca la lente.

  • Page 78 5.3 LA PROTECCIÓN ANTIVIENTO: INSTALACIÓN E EXTRACCIÓN Para instalar la protección antiviento, introduce primero el diente plástico frontal en la parte inferior de la mentonera y después realiza la introducción de los dientes laterales restantes (img. 14). Asegúrate que la protección antiviento esté firmemente fijada a la mentonera. Para extraer la protección antiviento, desengánchala tirando hacia abajo.
