- Page 3 Function Keys and Operation Procedure Power on: On the front panel, press ON/ZERO key to start the scale. Power off: To turn the scale off, press ON/ZERO key for 3 seconds. Zeroing: While the scale is on, press ON/ZERO key to set the scale to zero point. Unit of measure change: To change from kg to lb or vise versa, press MODE key.
