Section VI
6-1. INTRODUCTION.
6-2. This section contains information for ordering
replacement parts. Table 6-1 lists the mechanical
parts shown in Figure 6-1; Table 6-2 lists the electrical
components and miscellaneous parts. Table 6-1 lists
parts in numerical order of their reference designators
and indicates the description, -hp- part number and
total quantity of each part. Attaching hardware for
each mechanical part is listed with that part.
Table
6-2 lists the electrical components in alpha-numeric
order of their reference designators and indicates the
description and -hp- part number of each part, and
provides the following:
a. Total quantity used in the instrument (TQ
column). The total quantity is given the first
time the part number appears.
b. Typical manufacturer ofthe part in a five-digit
code. (See Appendix A for list of manufacturers).
c. Manufacturers part number.
6-3. Miscellaneous parts are listed at the end of
Table 6-2.
6-4. ORDERING INFORMATION.
6-5. To obtain replacement parts, address order
or inquiry toyour local Hewlett-Packard Field Office.
(See Appendix B for list of office locations. ) Identify
parts by their Hewlett-Packard part numbers. Include
instrument model and serial numbers.
6-6. NON-LISTED PARTS.
6-7. To obtain a part that is not listed, include:
a. Instrument model and serial numbers.
b. Description of the part.
c. Function and location of the part.
