Introduction

This massager is designed to massage your calves and heat your knees to relieve fatigue. To ensure safety and avoid any accidental damage or injury, please read this manual carefully and use the product only as indicated. Non-compliance may cause injuries, death and/or severe property damage.

Using the RENPHO Heated Knee and Calf Massager

Before Use

Loosen the velcro-strap and wrap around the appropriate leg ("L" for left leg, "R" for right leg).
Leave enough room for 4 fingers to fit in between the massager and calf as shown, then tighten the velcro-strap. Wrap calf parts first and then knee parts as shown.
Attach the Connection Hose to the handheld controller until the limit line " " reaches the edge of the controller (make sure the "up" and "down" markers face the correct direction).
Plug the adapter into the power source and insert the cable into the DC port. The massager will turn on and enter standby mode (indicator lights will flash slowly from up to down in cycle).

Operation Instruction

Press to begin the massage. Mode 1, Medium Intensity, High Heat will be activated by default (solid white indicator lights on). Press again to switch between Mode 1 and Mode 2.
Mode 1: Upper and lower bags in calf wraps inflate and deflate simultaneously.
Mode 2: Upper and lower bags in calf wraps inflate and deflate in alternation.
Press to cycle through Low/Medium/High/No Intensity.
Press to cycle through Low/High/No Heat (L:48℃; H:53℃).
Press and hold to turn off the massage and the device will enter standby mode.

Note:

The massager has a built-in auto-off timer. It will automatically turn off the massage after 20 minutes of continuous use. It is not recommended to use the massager for more than 30 minutes at a time.
The massager is programmed with a memory function. It will recall the last setting used once the Power/Mode button is turned on again. The memory function will not work if the power supply is unexpectedly cut off.
If you choose No Intensity, the mode function will be turned off accordingly. If both Intensity and Heat are turned off, and the controller has been left idle for 10 seconds, it will return to the standby mode.
Both wraps can work independently, so you can disconnect one from the controller to massage a single side only.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Storage
1. When not in use, store the massager back in the box and place it in a dry, well-ventilated and cool area.
2. Avoid twisting the cord or folding the connection hoses when packing.
Cleaning
1. Unplug the massager before cleaning.
2. Do not machine wash. Do not immerse it in any liquid to clean. Do not clean it with abrasive cleaners, brushes, gasoline, kerosene, glass polish or paint thinner.
3. Wipe down the surface of the massager with a soft, slightly damp cloth instead.
Maintenance
1. Keep the product clean and away from moisture.
2. Cover up the product when not in use to prevent dust.

Troubleshooting Guide

PROBLEM	CAUSE	SOLUTION
The product does not work	Disconnected power or loose plug causing poor contact. Didn't use an adapter with voltage as indicated (the power indicator light doesn't work). The massager auto shuts-off due to the device being on too long activating over-heat protection. The built-in auto-off timer turns it off after 20 minutes of continuous use.	Remove plug from outlet and re-insert into power source. Use the adapter provided in the package only. Use the massager after it cools down naturally. Restart if you want a longer massager.
Feel too powerful, uncomfortable, or tight while massaging.	Wraps are too tight. Intensity is set too high.	Loosen the velcro-strap of the corresponding part. Choose lower intensity. Press and hold the power button to turn off. Disconnect connection hoses from controller, the airbag will quickly deflate.
The controller gets hot	It is normal that the handheld controller slightly heats if the massager has been used for a long time.	It is strongly advised not to use this massager for more than 30 minutes per session to avoid OVER USAGE. After turning it off, allow the massager to cool down before using again.
The massage intensity of each side feels different when using simultaneously.	When wearing the massager, the gap you leave when tightening the velcro-strap may be different for each side.	Try leaving the same gap when tightening the massager.
There is an air leakage	The air hoses have not been inserted into the handheld controller properly.	Please carefully reinstall the air hose until the limit line on the plug reaches the edge of controller to ensure it is securely attached.

Children should not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children.
This appliance should not be used for any medical purposes. It is designed for household use only.

To reduce the risk of electric shock and fire:

Never use pins or other metallic fasteners with this appliance.
Ensure that the electrical voltage and frequency of the circuit correspond to those indicated on the adapter.
Do not leave the appliance unattended when it is working.
Always unplug the power adapter from the electrical outlet after each use.
Do not plug or unplug the power adapter or air hose with wet hands.
Keep the cord and appliance away from heated surfaces.
The appliance has a heating function. Persons insensitive to heat must be careful when using the appliance.

To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury to persons, please follow the instructions below:

Stop using if you feel abnormal or unwell after use and consult a doctor.
DO NOT use spare parts that are not approved by RENPHO.
Non-professional repair personnel should not dismantle or replace the appliance without manufacturer's permission.
DO NOT use the appliance if the power cord or wrap surfaces are damaged.
DO NOT use or store the appliance in a place with humidity such as a bathroom or places with high temperature.
DO NOT carry the appliance by the power cord or handheld controller.
DO NOT use while sleeping, operating machinery, or after alcohol consumption.
DO NOT stand or walk while using the appliance.
DO NOT expose the handheld controller, the wraps, or the power adapter to water as this may result in malfunction or electric shock.
DO NOT scratch, excessively bend, pull, or twist the wire of the power adapter.
DO NOT place heavy objects on or insert any foreign objects into the slit (this may cause fire and electric shock).
DO NOT use the sharp tools to scratch or puncture the wraps, as this may cause the appliance to leak air.
DO NOT use wraps directly on swollen, inflamed areas, sensitive skin, or skin eruptions.
DO NOT use the appliance for more than 30 minutes at a time. Extensive use could lead to the appliance's excessive heating and shorter lifespan.
DO NOT operate under a blanket or pillow. Excessive heating can occur and cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
DO NOT use the appliance on pets or animals.
Use heated surfaces carefully. May cause serious burns. The unattended use of heat by children or incapacitated persons may be dangerous.
Temperatures sufficiently high to cause burns may occur regardless of the control setting. Do not use on an infant or invalid or on a sleeping or unconscious person. Do not use it on insensitive skin or on a person with poor blood circulation. Check the skin in contact with the heated area of the appliance frequently to reduce the risk of blistering.
