Product Description.
The OS2 Manual Control Point provides indication of the OS2 SHEVTEC Controller condition and provides high priority open
and close controls.
There are two product variants:
Standard MCP.
The MCP is designed to allow the Fire & Rescue Service to manually override the Smoke Control System through a user
friendly interface. Design includes an open button and a close/reset button, which are accessed by lifting the clear front door.
Fully designed in accordance with pr EN 12101 Part 9.
System status, operation, fault finding and cable monitoring is all included within the features of the MCP (OSLoop Version
only) as required by the standard.
Tamper-proof MCP.
The Tamper Proof MCP is designed to eliminate nuisance activation of the Smoke Control System whilst delivering the full
functionality required of an MCP in accordance with prEN12101-9.
The orange (RAL 2011) MCP displays system and vent status visibly through three LEDs, "power, fault and activated" (all
requirements of the prEN standard).
Both MCPs are mounted on the same OS2 MCP Adapter Plate Assembly.
Only to be installed by competent electricians.
