SAFETY HIGHLIGHTS
Read and understand this manual and "CIMA Hydraulic Excavator User's Safety Manual" before
operating. Serious injury or death can result from unsafe operating practices.
Inspect your machine daily before operating and before engine startup. PERFORM
ALL REQUIRED MAINTENANCE BEFORE OPERATING UNIT.
Before disconnecting any oil lines, place the
boom on the ground or in the boom rest and shut off
the engine. Move the control levers and pedals to
relieve pressures within the cylinders. Secure boom
sections using heavy timber or chain.
Keep swing area free of tools, buckets and blocking.
To prevent slipping on walking surfaces, keep deck
and cab area free of oil and trash.
