CHANGING THE FRONT
DIRECTION INDICATOR
BULBS
Carefully read p. 65 (BULBS).
To change the bulbs:
NOTE
The following information refers to
one direction indicator only, but is valid for
both.
N Unscrew and remove the screw (1).
CAUTION
Proceed with care.
Do not damage the tangs and/or their
seats.
N Remove the protection screen (2).
N Unscrew and remove the screw (3).
CAUTION
A focal lens is positioned in the inner part
of the coloured screen; take care not to
invert the right and left screen.
N Remove the coloured screen (4).
N Press the bulb (5) slightly and rotate it an-
ticlockwise.
N Extract the bulb from its seat.
NOTE
Insert the bulb in the bulb socket,
making the two bulb pins coincide with the
relevant guides on the socket.
N Correctly install a new bulb of the same
type.
For the reassembly:
NOTE
Upon reassembly, correctly position
the protection screen (2) in its seat.
Do not invert the position of the screws (1)
and (3).
CAUTION
Tighten the screw (1) and the screw (3)
moderately and with great care, in order
to avoid damaging the protection screen
(2) and the coloured screen (4).

Carefully read p. 65 (BULBS).
N Position the vehicle on the centre stand,
see p. 38 (POSITIONING THE VEHICLE
ON THE STAND).

NOTE
Before changing a bulb, check the
fuse, see p. 64 (CHANGING THE FUSES).
N Unscrew and remove the screw (6).
NOTE
While removing the protection
screen, proceed carefully in order not to
break the cog.
N Remove the protection screen (7).
NOTE
Upon reassembly, correctly position
the protection screen in its seat.
Tighten the screw (6) moderately and care-
fully, to avoid damaging the protection
screen.
N Press the bulb (8) slightly and rotate it an-
ticlockwise.
N Extract the bulb (8) from its seat.
