UNLOCKING/LOCKING THE SEAT
To unlock and lift the seat:
u
Place the vehicle on the centre stand on
firm and level ground.
u
Insert the key into the seat lock (1).
u
Turn the key clockwise and raise the
seat (2).
NOTE
Before taking the seat down and
locking it, check that the key has been
removed from the underseat compartment.
u
To lock the seat, lower and press it
centrally thus making the lock snap shut.
WARNING
Before leaving, make sure that the seat
is properly locked.

GLOVE COMPARTMENT
To open the glove compartment:
u
Place the vehicle on the centre stand on
firm and level ground.
u
Insert ignition key into lock (3) and turn it
clockwise.
To close it:
u
Insert the ignition key, turn it clockwise
and press it simultaneously and then
turn the key anticlockwise for blocking.
u
Remove the key and make sure that
compartment is closed.
Do not load the glove compartment
excessively.
Maximum allowed weight: 1.5 kg

ANTITHEFT HOOK
The antitheft hook (4) is on the vehicle right
side.
To prevent the vehicle from being stolen, it is
advisable to secure it with the aprilia
"Body-Guard" shielded cable (5),
available at any aprilia Authorised Dealer.
WARNING
Do not use the hook to lift the vehicle or
for any purpose other than securing the
vehicle once it has been parked.
