With the front brake lever en-
gaged, press on the handlebar
repeatedly to make the fork go
down. The movement should be
smooth, and there should be no
traces of oil on the stems.
Check the tightness of all com-
ponents, and the proper func-

tioning of the front and rear
suspension articulations.
IMPORTANT
TO CHANGE THE FRONT FORK OIL
AND THE OIL SEALS, CONTACT AN
Official aprilia Dealership.
The front suspension consists of a hy-
draulic fork connected to the headstock
by means of two plates.
To adjust the vehicle's track alignment,
each fork stem is provided with an upper
nut (1) to adjust the spring preloading.
The left stem also has an upper screw (2)
to adjust the rebound damping.

Le levier du frein avant actionné,
appuyer à plusieurs reprises sur
le guidon, en faisant s'enfoncer
la fourche. La course doit être
douce et il ne doit pas y avoir de
traces d'huile sur les tiges.
Contrôler le serrage de tous les
organes et la fonctionnalité des
articulations des suspensions
avant et arrière.
ATTENTION
POUR VIDANGER L'HUILE DE LA
FOURCHE AVANT ET DES PARE-HUI-
LE, S'ADRESSER A UN concession-
naire officiel aprilia.
La suspension avant est composée d'une
fourche hydraulique branchée au moyen
de deux plaques au fourreau de direction.
Pour ajuster l'assiette du véhicule, cha-
que tige de la fourche est équipée d'un
écrou supérieur (1) pour le réglage de la
précharge du ressort.
La tige gauche est aussi dotée d'un ré-
gulateur supérieur (2) pour régler le frei-
nage hydraulique en extension.
