  • Page 15 Description 3  Description 3.1  Design and function Figure: The SCROLLVAC plus 3-phase and 1‑phase pumps are shown in SCROLLVAC plus 3-phase and 1-phase. The pump is a dry vacuum pump as all the bearings, with their hydrocarbon lubricant, are isolated from the vacuum space. The pump is suitable for use on vapour handling processes and may be used for some pumping applications involving corrosive substances.
