    Leybold. These pumps are not designed for working in flammable or explosive environ- ment. In case of doubt, contact Leybold for the ATEX pump range. The pumps are not suitable for pumping liquids or media which contain dust.

    Contact Leybold for important safety instructions before pumping greater than atmospheric concentrations of oxygen or other highly reactive gases. The pump must be degreased, modified, and special inert oil must be used for pumping oxy- gen.

    Waste oil from vacuum pumps must not be mixed with other substances or mate- rials. Waste oil from vacuum pumps (Leybold oils which are based on mineral oils) which are subject to normal wear and which are contaminated due to the influ- ence of oxygen in the air, high temperatures or mechanical wear must be dis- posed of through the locally available waste oil disposal system.
