Commissioning manual / Check list Indicator shall be operated upon the commissioning of an authorized personnel before and/or after installation. However, it is useful to operate the indicator at a work bench under the supervision of an authorized personnel prior to installation to learn how to properly operate the indicator, and to be familiar with each function.

This indicator receives a 4-20mA analog and converts the input to a digital output and displays the same. No separate power supply is required, while the 4-20mA analog signal provides power with maximum voltage drop of 2V.

For severe vibration, mounting to a pipe with appropriate mounting brackets available as an option is recommended.

After completing the test, while being cautious not to touch any exposed conductor, disconnect the insulation resistance tester, and connect the 100 kohm resistance between the ground terminal and the power terminal of the indicator.

Loop Configuration The indicator adopts a two-wire loop powered system. The signal line is utilized with the power lead, and the DC power supply to the indicator is the loop current power, connected as shown below.

Apply a non-hardening sealant to the terminal on the indicator and packing adapter to achieve a waterproof configuration.

(i.e. 10ohm or below) Grounding is essential to ensure explosion proof and intrinsic safety. <Caution> In case of built in lightening protectors, KS standards (grounding resistance of 10ohm or below) MUST be observed.

Unauthorized disassembly and assembly of indicator may cause damage. For any failed indicator or part, send such part to DUON System‘s service center for repair.
