Read this before unpacking ÄKTA flux s
This instruction contains information that is important for safety during the unpacking of
ÄKTA™ flux s. Read the whole instruction carefully before starting to unpack the system.

Visual inspection

that all equipment is enclosed in the delivery box according to the packing list.
•
the equipment for any apparent damage and document carefully if found.
If any equipment is missing or damages are found, contact your Cytiva representative
immediately.

WARNING
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Whenever packing,
unpacking, transporting or moving ÄKTA flux s, wear:
•
Protective footwear, preferably with steel lining.
•
Working gloves, protecting against sharp edges.
•
Protective glasses.

- Page 6 Step Action Remove the foam from the bottom. Carefully lift ÄKTA flux s using the lifting points under the system. Place the system on a stable bench. CAUTION Make sure that the system is placed on a stable flat bench with adequate space for ventilation.
- Page 7 Step Action CAUTION Lifting height to allow manual lift with two persons is approximately 70 cm, equaling a normal laboratory bench. For higher lifts, a pallet mover must be used. CAUTION Do not use any protruding objects on the system for lifting.
