Read this before unpacking ÄKTA go

This instruction contains information that is important for safety during the unpacking of

ÄKTA™ go. Read the whole instruction carefully before starting to unpack the system.

When you receive the delivery

•

Record on the receiving documents if there is any apparent damage to the delivery

box. Inform your Cytiva representative of such damage.

•

Move the delivery box to a protected location indoors.

This instruction covers the unpacking of ÄKTA go. See Operating Instructions 29360951

for instructions on how to install the instrument.

The delivery box contains the ÄKTA go instrument and a cardboard box. The cardboard

box contains the top and bottom trays, product documentation, and an accessories box.

Follow the steps below to unpack the instrument and lift the instrument onto the bench.

Page 2 CAUTION Heavy object. Use suitable precautions when moving the system. Two people are recommended to lift the system safely. Step Action Cut the plastic straps, and remove the lid and protective foam. Lift off and store the cardboard box that contains ÄKTA go product documentation and accessories.
Page 3 Step Action Remove the cardboard hood and the cover from the instrument. Using two persons, grip the instrument from the sides and carefully lift the instrument onto the bench.
