Maintenance Cue card
Overview
ÄKTA™ start is a simple and modern liquid chromatography system intended for preparative purification of
proteins at laboratory scale. The system can be used for a variety of research purposes to fulfill the needs of
the users in academia and the life sciences industry.
The Maintenance Cue Card describes the maintenance schedule for ÄKTA start and Frac30 (the Fraction
collector), and provides instructions for routine maintenance.
Regular maintenance is important for safe and trouble-free operation of ÄKTA start.
The system consist of ÄKTA start instrument, a fraction collector and a PC with UNICORN™ start software.
For a detailed description of the system, refer to ÄKTA start System Cue Card and ÄKTA start Operating
Instructions.
