  • Page 6 User manual N413-P INTRODUCTION SYSTEM DESCRIPTION The batch controller model N413-P is a microprocessor-driven instrument designed for batching and filling of small and large quantities, with optional receipt printer driver (Type CB or CH). Fig. 1: The N413-P This manual describes the daily use, configuration and installation of the N413-P with pulse input from a flow meter.

Configuration The N413-P can be used for many types of application and has a SETUP mode to allow for configuring it to your requirements. See for further information. Section 5: Configuration [»14] All settings are stored in an EEPROM memory so they will not be lost if there is a power failure.

For this, the N413-P is equipped with a control panel that provides the operator with various functions, information and operating modes.

Also, to accept alarms. OPERATOR INFORMATION AND FUNCTIONS The default mode of the N413-P is the OPERATOR mode.

Press RATE again or wait 20 seconds to return to the main display. Total and accumulated total When the TOTAL- key is pressed once, the (resettable) total will be displayed, with the indication TOTAL.

  • Page 18 User manual N413-P OVERRUN OVERRUN Enables or disables the self-learning overrun correction. Please note that for accurate overrun correction, it is necessary that the flow meter meets certain technical demands such as an adequate resolution, and shows no false overrun due to f.i. slow update time. Overrun correction should not be used when the flow meter is not compatible with this function.
  • Page 19 N413-P User manual 5.4.4 MENU 4: ALARM ALARM NO-FLOW When the sensor signal is zero for a preset time (see 4.2: ALARM > ) while batching, the N413-P can switch off the control FLOWRATE TIME outputs and set the controller in alarm state. This monitoring function can be enabled or disabled with this setting.

Maximum current is 30 mA. Please note that signal output from the sensor should be connected to terminal 30, and that terminal 4 is not in use.

Alarm When terminal 12 (Alarm) is connected to ground (terminal 8), a running batch will be interrupted immediately, and the process is blocked until the alarm status is reset.
