The printer are designed so the printhead replacement can be completed without making any adjustments.
This applies also to switching between printheads with 203 dpi and 300 dpi resolution.
See Figs. 1-3
The printhead (1) is attached and aligned on a head plate (2).
Do not loosen the screws (3), that attach the printhead to the head plate.
For easy distinction between the printheads, a label (4) with information about the printhead resolution is located on the head plate.
Check that the pins (8) are correctly inserted in the holes (11) and the printhead is secured in the printhead assembly. In other case carriage may be damaged!
Disconnect the power plug from the electrical power supply before starting!
Protect printhead against damage by electrostatic discharge!
Make sure that the glass surface on the printhead is not touched by sharp and hard objects or your hand!
A4+ printheads are not usable for A4.3+ printer.
