Troubleshooting Tips
- Potential TV interference: Some cordless telephones operate at frequencies that may cause interference to televisions and VCRs. To minimize or prevent such interference, do not place the telephone base of the cordless telephone near or on top of a TV or VCR. If interference is experienced, moving the cordless telephone farther away from the TV or VCR often reduces or eliminates the interference.
- Make, answer or end a call using the handset speakerphone.
- During a call, press to switch between the speakerphone and the handset earpiece.
- For best performance, keep the handset in the telephone base or charger when not in use.
- The battery is fully charged after 11 hours of continuous charging.

What can I do?
- If you have connected this telephone to a phone jack that has not been used before, or that has not been used in sometime, there may be problems with this jack that you are not aware of. Use a telephone jack that you know is in proper working order.
- Adjust the volume control. The volume control buttons are located directly under the display. The volume control will not work unless you are on an active call.
- If the handset is not responding normally, you may need to reset your telephone system. Complete the following steps to reset the telephone system:
- Disconnect the power to the telephone base.
- Disconnect the handset battery(s).
- Wait a few minutes and then reconnect the power to the telephone base.
- Reconnect the handset battery(s).
- Wait about one minute for the handset to re-establish a link with the telephone base and then test the phone again.
- Disconnect the phone from the line and try a different phone. If the volume is poor on the phone you've just tested, the may be a problem with the phone cord or jack.
- You may have a defective telephone cord. Try replacing cord between the jack and telephone base.
- The use of extension phones when on a phone call will draw additional line voltage. Due to differences amongst telephones and line conditions, extension use cannot be guaranteed. Not every type of phone will draw the same line voltage. Try different extensions and you may find a combination that will work together.
- Move the handset closer to the base. The operating range may vary with environmental conditions and time of use. There may be places within your environment that a cordless phone will not work well. If the problem only occurs in certain areas of your environment, you can conclude that there is nothing wrong with the phone.
