To prevent excessive wear caused by abrasion, the hardness and density (specific weight) of the grinding bowl and grinding balls used must be greater than that of the material used.

    Using the device Do not fail to comply with the following sequence: Place the grinding balls in the empty bowl. Pour grinding stock onto the balls and possibly add liquid for wet grinding. All sealing surfaces must be absolutely clean to guarantee impermeability, particularly during wet grinding.
