Devices connected to INSPELNING smart
plug can be controlled by a remote control.
When INSPELNING smart plug is used
together with DIRIGERA hub, connected
devices can be controlled via the IKEA
Home Smart app. The IKEA Home Smart
app can also be used to monitor the power
consumption of connected devices.

For Apple devices, download
the app using the App
Store. For Android devices,
download the app using
Google Play store.
Getting started with DIRIGERA hub
Download the IKEA Home smart app and
follow the instructions on screen to add
the dimmer/switch to your IKEA Home
smart system.
Pairing a steering device to your smart
plug
When the smart plug is sold together with
a remote (in the same package), they are
already paired. To add more smart plugs,
just repeat the steps below:
1. Make sure that your smart plug is
plugged in, and the main power is
turned on.
2. Hold the steering device close to the
smart plug you want to add (no more
than 5 cm away).
3. Press and hold the Pairing button
for at least 10 seconds. A red LED will
steadily shine on the steering device. On
your smart plug a white light will begin
to dim and flash one time to indicate
that it has been successfully paired.
