RODRET steering device can be used to control your
TRETAKT smart plug. If you own the DIRIGERA hub, you can
control the TRETAKT smart plug via the IKEA Home smart
app.
Pairing a steering device to your smart plug
When the smart plug is sold together with a remote (in the
same package), they are already paired. To add more smart
plugs, just repeat the steps below:
1. Make sure that your smart plug is plugged in and the
main power is turned on.
2. Hold the steering device close to the smart plug you want
to add (no more than 5 cm away).
3. Press and hold the pairing button
seconds. A red LED will steadily shine on the steering
device. On your smart plug a white light will begin to
dim and flash one time to indicate that it has been
successfully paired.
Getting started with DIRIGERA hub
Download the IKEA Home smart app and follow the
instructions on screen to add the smart plug to your IKEA
Home smart system.

App Store. For Android devices, download the
app using Google Play store.
Good to know
Without DIRIGERA, you can connect a maximum of 10
smart products to one dimmer/switch. Remember to add
one product at a time. If your products are close together,
disconnect the ones you have already connected while
adding the next product.
Get to know your TRETAKT product
• Press the On/Off button on the smart plug once to turn it
on. Press it once again to turn it off.
• When using a remote: Press the On button (|)
to turn the smart plug on. Press the Off button (o) to turn
the smart plug off.
Factory reset your smart plug:
Push the reset button on top of the smart plug with a
pointy object for at least 5 seconds until the LED starts
pulsating.
IMPORTANT!
• The Smart plug is for indoor use only and can be used in
temperatures from 0ºC to 35ºC.
• Do not leave the Smart plug in direct sunlight or near any
heat source, as it may overheat.
