3. Change the oil at the end of every season. To do
so, remove the used engine oil from a warm en-
gine and refill with fresh oil.
4. Remove the spark plug. Fill approx. 20 ml of oil
into the cylinder using an oil can (not included in
scope of delivery). Pull the pull starter (18) slowly
so that the oil coats the inside of the cylinder. At-
tach the spark plug again.
5. Open the star grip screws (6) and fold the device
in (Fig. 15).
6. Store the device in a well-ventilated place or area.

m WARNING
Danger of injury due to unintentional start-up of the device!
• Before working on the device, turn the on/off switch (11) to the "Off" position and remove the spark plug connector (31).
m WARNING
Danger of burning!
• Do not touch hot silencers, cylinders or cooling fins.
ATTENTION
• If the fault cannot be rectified, the device must be checked by customer service.
Important note in the case of repairs:
When returning the device for repair, for safety reasons, ensure that it is free of oil and fuel when it is sent to the service
centre.

Notes for packaging
The packaging materials are

Fuels and oils
• Before disposing of the unit, the fuel tank and the
engine oil tank must be emptied!
• Fuel and engine oil do not belong in household
waste or drains, but must be collected or disposed
of separately!
• Empty oil and fuel tanks must be disposed of in
an environmentally friendly manner.
Remedy
Check oil level, fill with engine oil.
Clean or replace spark plug.
Top up with fuel.
Connect the spark plug connector to the
spark plug.
