Adjust the machine so that it is not exposed to water or vapors, vibration or shocks,
direct sunlight or any kind of heat source.
•
Set proper ventilation and enough space behind the instrument for arranging the
power cord and tubing. 20 cm (8 inches) at least must be maintained behind the instrument.
•
Do not place candles, burning cigarettes, etc. on the product; these may cause some
kind of fire.
1.2.4 Assembly and Disassembly precautions
•
Replace parts carefully and always use RAL Diagnostics parts. Beware to note the exact
location of parts and also cable routing before dismantling any part of the machine. Ensure
that all parts and cables are replaced correctly. Please carry out the following procedures
before dismantling the product or replacing any parts.
•
Ensure that the power is disconnected before servicing or replacing any electrical parts.
•
Disconnect interface cables and power cables.
•
Only use approved spare parts. Ensure that part number, product name, voltage,
current or temperature ratings are correct.
•
When removing or re-fitting any parts, do not use excessive force, especially when
fitting screws into plastic.
1.2.5 Warning messages
•
Do not put fingers or hair into the moving parts.
When operating a spreader, do not put hand or hair into the moving parts (Motor, etc.).
•
Ensure the spreader is installed safely.
Ensure the spreader is installed on a level surface, capable of supporting its weight. Failure
in doing so may cause the spreader to be wobbly or fall possibly causing personal injury or
damaging the spreader.
•
Do not install the spreader on a sloping or unstable surface. After installation, double
check that the spreader is stable.
