Installation
Install the M.2 to Quad SATA Drive Adapter
Warning: M.2 Adapter Cards can be damaged by static electricity. Ensure that the
Installer is properly grounded before they open the Computer Case or touch the M.2 to
Quad SATA Adapter. The Installer should wear an Anti-Static Strap when installing any
computer component. If an Anti-Static Strap is not available, discharge any built-up
static electricity by touching a large Grounded Metal Surface for several seconds. Only

handle the M.2 Adapter Card by its edges and do not touch the gold connectors.
Turn off the Computer and disconnect the Power Cable and any Peripheral Devices

that are connected (e.g. printers, external hard drives, etc.).
Remove the Cover from the Computer Case.

Note: Consult the documentation that came with the Computer for details about how
to do this safely.
Locate an available M.2 Drive Slot on the Host Computer's Motherboard. If the M.2

Drive Slot has a Cover or Heatsink, remove the corresponding Slot Cover/Heatsink.
Gently insert the M.2 Adapter into the open M.2 Drive Slot. Secure it using a Phillips

Head Screwdriver and the Screw that was removed in Step 3.
Connect a SATA Drive to the M.2 Drive Adapter using one of the included SATA

Cables.
Repeat Step 5 for the remaining SATA Drives.

Re-install the Cover of the Computer Case that was removed in Step 2.

Reconnect the Power Cable and Peripheral Devices that were disconnected in

Power on the Computer.
