• Connect the earth wire (yellow/green) to the earth terminal (2).
3. Connect the earth wires to their terminals:
• The cable between the housing and the top cover.
(Check this connection each time the top cover is closed)
• The cable between the terminal block and the logic.
4. The following must be provided at the feeder head:
• a 10 A/30mA super-immune selective differential circuit breaker (for one barrier maximum).
• a 10 A/300mA differential circuit breaker (for five barriers maximum).
5. Connect the various control elements and options in accordance with the diagrams supplied, leaving a space of 15 cm with
the power cable reaching the terminal blocks (3).
THE BARRIER MUST BE USED IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE SAFETY WARNINGS ( CHAP. 2, PAGE 4).

6.10. FIRST STARTUP

Before first commissioning, review the procedures described in the chapters: 6. Installation, 7. Adjustments, 8. Maintenance.
The following list can be used as a barrier commissioning "Check-list".
F Fix the barrier to the ground in accordance with the recommendations ( Chap. 6. Installation, page 16).
F Assemble the arm ( Chap. 6.5. Arm assembly, page 20).
F Check the horizontal and vertical positions of the arm ( Chap. 7.5. Horizontal/vertical adjustment of the arm, page 35).
F Check the spring compensation ( Chap. 7.4.1. Checking the proper balancing of the arm, page 34).
F Connect the inputs and outputs on the control logic.
F Make the electrical connections in accordance with current legislation and the wiring diagrams supplied.
F Switch on the barrier via the main circuit breaker (Ref. 10, page 10), and wait a few seconds (± 5 sec.) for the control
logic to initialise.
F The boot message appears on the Human Machine Interface (HMI) built into the control logic.
F After a few seconds, it is replaced by the run message, which means that the equipment is ready to operate.
Refer to the control logic manual for the meaning of the various messages appearing on the HMI.
F Perform calibration ( Chap. 7.1.1. Calibration of the analogue sensor, page 27).
