BL 227 EVO 6.3. PREPARING THE BASE PLATE As the barrier cannot rest on the ground, it will have to be attached, either: - to a concrete base, using a CHA0209-A fixing frame supplied on request (procedure detailed below). - or a steel pedestal (supplied as an option).
BL 227 EVO 6.4. EQUIPMENT INSTALLATION 1. Handle the equipment on site using an appropriate handling device (hand truck or equivalent). 2. Unlock and remove the top cover ( Chap. 8.1, page 38). 3. Strip the sheathing from the wires starting 50cm from the ground.
BL 227 EVO 6.5. ARM ASSEMBLY 6.5.1. ROUND ARM Ø75 MM ASSEMBLY - All screws should be greased before assembly. - Nominal tightening torques are given in the caption of the figure. - The barrier must be open ( Chap. 8.3, page 39) before proceeding with arm assembly or disassembly.
BL 227 EVO 6.5.2. BACK ROUND ARM/OVAL ARM SWING-OFF ASSEMBLY (OPTIONAL) Back round arm swing-off Back oval arm swing-off Fig. 12 - Back round arm/oval arm swing-off assembly 1. Place the jaw (1) in vertical position 2. Remove the stainless steel cap nut M10 (2) and the corresponding stainless steel washer M10 (3), the stainless steel H screw M10x90 (4) and washer (5) from the jaw.
BL 227 EVO 6.6. TIP SUPPORT ASSEMBLY The tip support is supplied as standard with all barriers over 5 m and is available as an option for shorter arms. The role of the tip support is to hold the end of the arm in a horizontal position and ensure its rigidity.
BL 227 EVO 6.8. LED BRACKET ASSEMBLY (OPTIONAL) 1. Remove the top cover ( Chap. 8.1, page 38). 2. Using double-sided tape, stick the LED strip (1) under the LED bracket (2). Do not hesitate to use adhesive strips to hold the LED strips in place.
BL 227 EVO 6.9. ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS DO NOT CONNECT TO A FLOATING NETWORK OR TO A HIGH-IMPEDANCE EARTHED INDUSTRIAL DISTRIBUTION NETWORK. HIGH LEAKAGE CURRENTS. PRIOR TO CONNECTING THE POWER SUPPLY, IT IS ESSENTIAL TO MAKE A GROUND CONNECTION USING A CABLE WITH A MIN.
BL 227 EVO 1. Remove the top cover ( Chap. 8.1, page 38). 2. Connect the power supply cables • Switch the circuit breaker OFF (1). • Connect the neutral (blue) and phase (brown or black) wires from the power supply to the circuit breaker.

BL 227 EVO THE BARRIER WILL START MOVING TO DEFINE THE HIGH AND LOW POSITIONS! F Check the correct configuration of the barrier. As necessary, adjust the parameters via the maintenance interface. F Check the correct operation of all the possible options and safety measures.
BL 227 EVO 7. ADJUSTMENTS 7.1. ADJUSTING THE ANALOGUE POSITION SENSOR The analogue sensor makes it possible to manage the opening and closing movements of the arm. Due to its design, this type of sensor allows a much finer management of the arm movements, allowing precise accelerations and decelerations.
BL 227 EVO 7.1.1.1. CALIBRATION OF THE ANALOGUE SENSOR VIA THE WEB INTERFACE a. Go to the ‘Individual Tests’ page and select the ‘Calibration’ menu. b. Perform the ‘End Stop position’ test. c. The interface will confirm that the calibration was successful if the arm is in the open position at the end of the test.

BL 227 EVO 7.1.1.3. CALIBRATION OF THE ANALOGUE SENSOR VIA THE OLED AS1621 SCREEN (OPTIONAL) VOPAC État OK Menu The Calibration menu applies only when the barrier is equipped with an analogue sensor. With the End positions option, the arm swivels slowly to store the value of the analogue signal in the high and low positions.
The factory settings protect the variable frequency drive and the gear motor from all malfunctions. The settings of the variable frequency drive should therefore never be modified. ANY MODIFICATION OF THESE PARAMETERS WITHOUT PRIOR EXPRESS PERMISSION FROM AUTOMATIC SYSTEMS IS YOUR FULL RESPONSIBILITY AND WILL AUTOMATICALLY VOID THE PRODUCT WARRANTY.
BL 227 EVO 7.3. ADJUSTING THE COMPENSATION For operation with automatic raising (AVR models - optional) of the arm in case of power failure, the spring tension should be adjusted so that the arm is raised slowly and completely until it reaches its vertical position.
