6.4. EQUIPMENT INSTALLATION
1. Handle the equipment on site using an appropriate handling device (hand truck or equivalent).
2. Unlock and remove the top cover ( Chap. 8.1, page 38).
3. Strip the sheathing from the wires starting 50cm from the ground.
4. Remove the wooden slats fixed to the bottom of the housing.
5. To avoid damaging the anchor bolts, place the bottom of the barrier (8) on its base according to the solution chosen before
ordering (position of the arm in relation to the door and the road: Chap. 5.2, page 8).
6. Secure the housing to the sole plate by tightening the washers (5) and nuts (6) previously removed onto the bolts (1).

7. If required, add some adjustment thicknesses under the housing to obtain the levelling of the barrier.
Only lock the nuts (6) after placing the arm ( Chap. 6.5.1, page 20) or a tip support (optional).
If no fixing frame is available, it is possible to fix the barrier to the ground using four chemical anchors M12
minimum. A rubber sole (peplic joint) can be added between the concrete base and the barrier frame.
