Connect an AC-input power supply as follows:
At the front of the router, check that the power switch is in the off (O) position.
Step 1
Plug the single power cable into the AC connector on the router, or if you have a dual-AC power supply,

plug an AC power cable into each AC connector. The dual AC power supply cables are attached with
screws to the chassis.
If you have a single AC power supply, insert the cable-retention clip wire into the clip bracket holes.
Step 3
Then slide the plastic portion into the clip, adjusting it to the desired length. See

be removed from the supporting wire and repositioned for better support of the cable.
Plug the AC power supply cable into the AC power source. Repeat this step if you have a dual-AC power

supply.
Note
If required, use Sinewave Output UPS (uninterruptable power supply), not Ferro-resonant type UPS.

This completes the procedure for connecting AC-input power. Your installation is complete. Proceed to
Chapter 3, "Starting and Configuring the Router,"

Connecting DC-Input Power

The color coding of the DC-input power supply leads depends on the color coding of the DC power

source at your site. Make certain the lead color coding you choose for the DC-input power supply
matches lead color coding used at the DC power source.
Warning
When you install the unit, the ground connection must always be made first and disconnected last.
