• Always wear protective goggles when working with
the machine. A face mask or dust mask must also
be used when working with a lot of dust.
• Chuck key and other tools must be removed before
switching on the machine.
• Place the machine on a level, non-slip floor. The
machine must not wobble.
• Make sure that the voltage on the data plate match-
es the existing voltage. Then connect the connector
to the mains.
• Put on protective goggles.
• Wear hearing protection.
• Wear protective gloves.
• Do not use cracked diamond cutting wheels and re-
place them.
• Attention! Cutting wheel runs on!
• Do not brake the diamond cutting wheel by applying
lateral pressure.
• Attention! The diamond cutting wheel must always
be cooled with water.
• Pull out the mains plug before changing the cutting
wheel.
• Only use suitable diamond cutting wheels.
• Never leave the machine unattended in rooms with
children.
• Disconnect the mains plug before checking the mo-
tor compartment electrical system.
• Direction of rotation of the cutting wheel: Check the
direction of the arrow on the cutting wheel, the di-
rection of the arrow must match with the direction of
rotation of the motor shaft.
• Keep you hands, fingers and arms away from the
rotating cutting wheel. Always maintain sufficient
clearance from the diamond cutting wheel.
• Only use diamond cutting wheels recommended by
the manufacturer which conform to EN 13236. The
use of any type of saw blades is prohibited.
• Only use cutting wheels whose speed is at least
3000 rpm.
• The cutting of metal and wood is not permitted.
• Cooling of the cutting wheel: Make sure that the
cutting wheel is cooled with water during the entire
cutting process.
• Always fill the pan with water before working.
Residual risks
The machine has been built according to the state-of-
the-art and the recognised technical safety require-
ments. However, individual residual risks can arise
during operation.
28 | GB
• Health hazard due to electrical power, with the use
of improper electrical connection cables.
• Before performing setting or maintenance work, re-
lease the start button and pull out the power plug.
• Furthermore, despite all precautions having been
met, some non-obvious residual risks may still re-
main.
• Residual risks can be minimised if the "Safety infor-
mation" and the "Proper use" together with the oper-
ating manual as a whole are observed.
• Avoid accidental start-ups of the machine: The oper-
ating button may not be pressed when inserting the
plug in a socket. Use the tool that is recommended
in this operating manual. This is how to ensure that
your machine provides optimum performance.
• Keep your hands away from the work area, when the
machine is in operation.

* The duty cycle S2 20 min (short-time duty)
states that the motor may only be continu-
ously loaded with the rated power (1200 W) for
the time specified on the data plate (20 min).
Otherwise, it would heat up impermissibly.
During the pause, the motor cools down again to
its initial temperature.
