Lift truck performance depends on the ground or floor conditions and travel speed should be adjusted properly. Always keep the battery in a well-charged condition since there is danger of damaging the battery jar if electrolyte freezes. To prevent the freezing, charge at least 75% of the whole capacity. Also it is effective to keep the specified gravity up to 1.260, but not higher than this value.

    3.3.3 Starting, gear shifting and travelling ■ Engine starting CAUTION Never try to make the engine starting circuit short circuit on purpose to start the engine,or serious injury or fire may be caused. Before starting the engine, place the forward/backward operation lever and high speed/low speed lever on neutral position and push the parking brake backward.

    3.3.5 Inching CAUTION Do not make the truck inching through stepping on the acceleration pedal and adjusting brake pedal pressing distance. Make the truck inching through half engaging the clutch pedal or inching pedal. IMPORTANT • Long distance travelling with clutch engaged will damage the clutch.
