    FOREWORD Before you start to use this truck it is of extreme importance that you have read the contents of the entire Operator’s Manual to be able to use the truck in a safe and efficient manner. This Operator’s Manual contains information on how you should use the truck, safety regulations and how to keep the truck in a safe condition by following daily service routines.

    Ⅰ.SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS Safety is your business and your responsibility . The “SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS” covers basic safety procedures and warnings of general application to the electric pallet truck. 1. Main Use of the Truck This pallet truck is designed for indoor use only. Do not use this truck outside.

    CAUTION! Provide good ventilation, especially if the battery is charged in a ● confined area. During the charging process oxygen and hydrogen gases are always formed in the battery. Naked flames and sparks in the vicinity of the battery can cause an explosion. Always switch off the charging current before removing the battery connector.

Never wear loose objects or jewellery when working on the truck. ● When working with truck’s electrical system, short-circuiting/burns can occur if a metal object comes into contact with live electrical connections. Remove watches, rings or other types of metal jewellery.

    2. Pallet Truck Direction Reference Note:The operator operate the pallet truck. by walkie figure2:pallet truck direction reference 3. Controls and Instruments (1)Assembled Instrument The Assembled Instrument provides three functions indicate. The Battery Discharge Indicator displays the charge condition of the battery. The Battery Discharge Indicator is activated automatically when the key switch is turned ON.

  • Page 16 (3)Steering and Braking Control When the position of the tiller bar is inside 60 angle, the pallet truck can be operated normally. as shown in the following drawing When the position of the tiller bar is inside ①② position and ③④ position, the braking switch is shut and the truck is braked.

    Ⅲ.OPERATION 1.Break-in Period Some new parts have a break-in period. Use these instructions to break in the pallet truck correctly. If you do not, you could shorten the life of the truck parts. a) Follow the battery manufacturer’s instructions to break in a new battery.

(2)Charging the battery The battery shall be charged with automatic charger. When charging, notice not to excessively charge or to be short of electricity to avoid the damage to the battery.

Generally determinate if these is sufficient electricity in battery in the following methods: ● Specific gravity of battery electrolyte keeps basically a constant valve for 2~3 hours. ● There are air bubbles suddenly sent up from battery electrolyte surface and the electrolyte becomes clear and bright from cream colour.

    Each month: a) Measure the temperature in one of the center cells immediately after charging. The temperature should not exceed 50℃. b) Measure the density of the battery fluid using an acid taste. Hold the acid tester absolutely vertical and extract sufficient fluid so that the hydrometer float moves freely.

    c) Drive the truck with the load trailing, when the load impairs the line of vision.
