    2.6.3 GV-RMS32810 Camera Lens Location To see the location of each lens, first unscrew the transparent cover of the camera using the supplied torx wrench. The angles are marked on the side, as indicated in red circles in the figure below. The camera lenses are positioned counterclockwise.

    3. Installation This section introduces the standard camera installation. For optional installations with GV-Mount accessories, see GV-R Series IPCam Mount Installation Guide. 3.1 Bullet Camera Installation (For GV-RBL5800 / RBL5802 / RBL5811) Ceiling Mounting Insert three expansion bolts in place into the ceiling and fix the equipment with three mounting screws.

    3.2 Eyeball Camera Installation (For GV-REB5800 / REB5801) Ceiling Mounting Paste the sticker in place at the proper position as selected. Remove the collar off the camera by rotating it down.
  • Page 13 Fix the pedestal by drilling locking holes around the sticker and inserting three expansion bolts into the holes and fastening it with three locking screws. Mount the collar back by rotating it up.

    3.3 Dome Camera Installation (For GV-RDR5800) Ceiling Mounting Apply the position sticker to the desired camera mounting position. Mount the main camera body.

    3.4 Fisheye Camera Installation (For GV-RFER12700) Ceiling Mounting Remove the plastic base press the release clip towards the camera, it will flex slightly. Turn back anti-clockwise as illustrated above to release. Install memory card by removing the cover plate two screws: Push the metal card holder towards center of camera, lift-up the holder which is on a hinge bracket and insert card and push holder back to original fixed position.
  • Page 17 Selected the proper position to fix the pedestal by drilling locking holes and inserting two expansion bolts into the holes and fastening it with two locking screws. Install Main Camera Body: Mount the Main Camera Body back by rotating it up. Rotating the main camera body to an appropriate angle.

    3.5 Dome Camera Installation (For GV-RMS32810) Wall Mounting Stick the mounting template to the wall, and drill 4 expansion screw holes. Hammer the 4 expansion screws into the drilled wall holes. Align the 4 expansion screws with the holes of the bracket, install the gasket and the spring washer, and lock the 4 nuts.
  • Page 19 Fasten the anti-dropping rope of the locked dome camera into the suspending rope loop of the bracket. After the tail cable of the panoramic dome camera passes through the bracket, align the notch of the adapter cover with the rivet position of the bracket and insert it into the bracket hole.
  • Page 20 After rotating the dome camera to the proper position, tighten the 2 socket head cap screws M6*16 on the bracket. Ceiling Mounting Rotate to remove the pre-installed wall mount plate, and remove the safety rope.
  • Page 21 Determine a hard surface on the ceiling location. Mark and drill four mounting holes. Install the wall mount plate to the ceiling location by securing it with the 4 supplied screws. Hook the safety rope, and install the waterproof rubber set.
  • Page 22 Connect power or I/O wires, and use foam tapes or seal foam to ensure the back-end connection is waterproof. Rotate the camera to the appropriate position to lock it.
  • Page 23 After aligning, tighten the four head cap screws on the main body. Ensure to insert the memory SD card at this step. Adjust to the appropriate viewing angle first.

    4. Accessing the Network Camera 4.1 Looking Up the Dynamic IP Address By default, when the camera is connected to a LAN with the DHCP server, it is automatically assigned with a dynamic IP address. Follow the steps below to look up its IP address.

    4.2 Configuring the IP Address If the camera is connected to a LAN without the DHCP server, the default IP address will be 192.168.0.10. Follow the steps below to modify the IP address to avoid IP conflict with other GV-IP devices on the same LAN. 1.

    6. Upgrading System Firmware GeoVision periodically releases updated firmware on the company website. To load the new firmware into the camera, follow the instructions below. 1. On the Web interface, click Remote Setting > System > Maintenance > Upgrade. 2. Place the firmware file (.sw) into the HDD of your PC.

Restoring to Factory Default If for any reason the camera is not responding correctly, you can restore the camera back to its factory default settings using the Web interface or the Load Default Button.
